TPO is a white single-ply membrane used on flat and low-slope commercial roofs. Its seams are heat-welded, and the white surface reflects sunlight, which helps with cooling costs.
Can you put a TPO roof over a metal roof?
Often, yes. If the metal roof and the structure are sound, a TPO system can be installed over it, which saves the cost and downtime of a tear-off. We confirm this during the inspection.
